EDUCATION:

In 1997, I earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, and in 2001, I was licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. In 1994, I began my training in Voice Dialogue with the creators, Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone. In 1998 I became part of their senior staff, and continued to facilitate and teach at their Voice Dialogue trainings in Albion, California until 2012, when these intensive Voice Dialogue programs were no longer offered.

EXPERIENCE:

During the 20 years I have been practicing psychotherapy, I have been quite fortunate to work with many different people, and with a wide variety of different issues. What I have learned through all these experiences has actually been a richer education than what I learned in school.

In addition, I am a partner in a long-term marriage and we raised three children. This too, has been an invaluable learning ground, and I tap into this education every day.

I also draw upon my experience being a woman who has lived a full and varied life of self-discovery. I have learned invaluable lessons about living and loving through my own journey of healing and growth. I am personally familiar with the rewards of using therapy as a wonderful resource to help an individual find their way through difficult times and as a support for personal growth in realizing one’s full potential.
